Fantastic Digital and What Created Them- Feature 1In this feature I’d like to show the stunning stock used to create even more outstanding works of art. Each will have a subject, which can be open to interpretation. I really hope you like this new feature and how i have set it up.
In this feature it is storms, the full power of storms and the calm before. Storms have the power to fascinate and create fear in those watching them. Me, i watch them with fascination. But, how do they make you feel? fear?

I've looked at clouds from both sides now...A feature/tribute dedicated to our Deviant Art stock providors.
We see the sky everyday. We tend to take it for granted and only occasionally exclaim at the wondrous magnificence exhibited to us for free. Our stock providers help us so much by uploading skies from other places ...same planet, different seasons, locations and weather. They capture their sky when it is particularly dramatic or simply beautiful, and upload their captures for we photomanipulators to utilise and admire.
Over the time I have been a member here, I have been collecting resources for my photomanipulation work and just yesterday I revisited my local folder of 'skies'. Although I have fewer than 80 sky images there, I have a resource that I could never collect for myself. I would have to be in hundreds of places at many different times with my camera always at the ready to even begin to amass the amazing collection I have been able to put together for my photomanipulation works.

deviantART has a large and devoted stock resource community and we really do appreciate their presence and their generosity with the community.
I do have something very important I'd like to mention for everyone who offers some sort of stock resource so hopefully those who read my journal will help to disseminate the information and spread it around to those who might not otherwise read it.
The concern that I have is Terms of Use.
Officially deviantART maintains only one "automatic" restriction and that is "No Commercial Use" and that particular restriction can easily be overridden by the actual stock provider.
As far as official policy is concerned each stock resource provider is free to attach any Terms of Use, restrictions or requirements that they see fit and I and my staff will do the best we can to help you enforce your rules when you need the assistance.
